Patrick Henderson, a Roanoke native, is a distinguished professional with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the esteemed Virginia Military Institute (VMI). After graduating from VMI, Patrick embarked on his professional journey at Lanford Brothers Company, Inc., a venerable legacy company based in Roanoke.

 

At the young age of 29, Patrick co-founded Protos Security, a pioneering security management service provider. Protos Security revolutionized traditional physical security, including armed and unarmed security, off-duty police services, and remote monitoring, through innovative technology and streamlined processes. As a tech-enabled security firm, Protos offers real-time security management, transparency, incident reporting, streamlined billing, and comprehensive data analytics, providing invaluable business intelligence to its clients. What began as a startup venture has evolved into the fifth-largest security provider in the United States, boasting a dedicated staff of over 5,000 professionals and annual revenues exceeding $750 million. In 2019, Patrick and his co-founder partnered with an equity firm to further accelerate growth, and they continue to actively serve on the board.

 

In 2018, Patrick ventured into the real estate market in the Roanoke, VA region, drawing on his passion for efficient processes and a holistic approach to analyzing real estate data. Managing a diverse portfolio valued at $20 million, encompassing short and long-term rentals, commercial properties, and multi-family residences, Patrick's real estate endeavors have demonstrated his unique perspective and ability to identify market opportunities. Additionally, he collaborated with four trusted partners to establish Missional Capital Group, a Real Estate Investment Firm. This innovative firm is driven by a vision that combines financial success with a profound commitment to serving others.

 

In 2022, Patrick made a significant investment in (22) ground-up 7 Brew franchises in the Richmond, VA market. 7 Brew, renowned for transforming drive-thru coffee into an extraordinary experience, is expanding rapidly, with over 1,000 locations set to delight communities across the country.

 

Patrick's outlook on life has been profoundly shaped by a challenging experience in 2002 when he courageously battled Burkitt's Lymphoma, one of the most lethal forms of cancer. This near-miss experience ignited his unwavering faith, unyielding drive, and a deep passion for his roles as a devoted husband, loving father, and accomplished entrepreneur.
